Nestled in the heart of Chambersburg, PA, Screaming Bambino Cellars was born from a deep passion for exceptional wine and unforgettable experiences. What started as a dream to craft exquisite, handcrafted wines has grown into a destination where flavor, community, and celebration come together. Every bottle we produce reflects our commitment to quality and creativity, offering something special for every palate.

Then…
Jan Zell Wines was established in 2014 by Arnie and Laura Jansen. Through years of hard work and attention to detail, they built Jan Zell Wines into a local favorite, offering a wide variety of wines for every taste. During their time operating the Grant Street location in Chambersburg, they met Rich and Kim Capozzi—avid home winemakers who loved sharing their creations with family and friends. A friendship blossomed as they exchanged stories and techniques within the home winemaking group that Arnie started at the tasting room.
Fast forward to 2022: the Jansens approached the Capozzis about purchasing Jan Zell Wines. A deal was struck, and on August 1, 2022, under the name Screaming Bambino Cellars, the Capozzi family proudly finalized the purchase.

Our name, Screaming Bambino, comes from an old photograph of our family patriarch, Rich Capozzi Sr., and his twin brother Bob—a reminder of the traditions they passed down: good wine, good food, cherished friendships, and above all, love of family. Today, we honor that legacy by offering fine wines and hard ciders at several local locations, including Boyer Cellars (Biglerville), Screaming Bambino Vino (Chambersburg), Waynesboro Farmers Market, and a variety of local restaurants and Rutter’s Convenience Stores.

Can I carry Screaming Bambino wine in my store?

Yes! Please reach out to us through our contact form, or call 717-446-1623.

Returns & Cancellations

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, or flawed. We ask the customer to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept returns of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to info@screamingbambino.com to arrange for the return of the corked or flawed product.

Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact the us at 717-446-1623 for return instructions.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.
